The screen is visible only when you activate it. Sony Ericsson LiveView can act like a watch and this makes it different from the other MBW series. You will have to assemble it which is a little fiddly but once you put it together, it will act as mountable strap for this device. There is a DIY Velcro watch strap included in the pack. This device is a bit bigger than a standard watch but it still feels quite compact in the hand. On the bottom, there is microUSB jack for device charging. The surface has four touch sensitive points, one on each side of the display. It looks quite similar to miniature stopwatch. There are two physical buttons – one on top right and one on top left. The device is a bit thick at 11 mm and fascia is 35 by 35 mm. The screen quality isn’t really sharp but it will still get the job done. LiveView has a 1.2 inch OLED screen having a resolution of 128×128 pixels. But the manufacturer does give one watch strap in the box separately. Sony Ericsson LiveView is packed as clip on accessory and there is no watch strap attached. This might be the James Bond gadget that you’ve been looking for. Apart from this, you also get platform for plugins and this makes the LiveView more versatile in nature.

The special thing about LiveView is that it offers you more for less. They let you control the music playback and you can see who is calling without taking your phone out of the pocket. Sony Ericsson has made a lot of Bluetooth watches over the past few years for their MBW line. But now the standard of living here has improved and Indians have been craving for such luxurious goods too. Very few of them have made it here in India simply because they are a bit expensive for Indians and most of us are unwilling to spend money on such a thing. You might not have heard of Bluetooth watches before but they have been around.
